London opens at 09:00 CET and the New York overlap runs 14:30-18:00 CET.

The robot has a trading-hours filter, so you can restrict it to the London and New York overlap instead of letting it trade thin Asian-session ranges. Set the hours in your broker's server time, not your own local time, because MetaTrader charts follow the server clock.

Choosing a broker

Whichever you pick, check three things before you attach the robot to a live chart: that expert advisors are allowed, the typical XAUUSD spread during the New York session, and the exact gold contract size, which differs between platforms and changes what one lot is worth.

Hosting and latency

A Paris or London VPS is the usual choice from France, but latency is measured to your broker's trade server, not to you. Ping the server from a candidate VPS before you commit to it. Running the platform on a VPS also means the robot keeps managing open positions when your own machine is off.
